Hi, I’m Emma. I’m a solution focused hypnotherapist and psychotherapist. I trained with CPHT at the Clifton practice and they are an international training body and nationally accredited by the national council for hypnotherapy (NCH). 

I am fully insured and have an enhanced DBS check. I am also a member of the association for solution focused hypnotherapy (AFSFH) and follow the organisation‘s code of conduct and terms. 

I am also a qualified mental health nurse and I worked with those with anxiety, depression, OCD, eating disorders, Bi-Polor, panic attacks, PTSD, sleep disorders and other mental health disorders. 

I‘ve had hypnotherapy myself when I was struggling with anxiety and it was the best thing I ever did. I had tried lots of different types of therapy and it was the one that suited me the most, due to it being solution and future focused. This then made me determined to train in hypnotherapy to help others to feel as good as I did and to get the best out of themselves.

Solution focused hypnotherapy encourages you to focus on the present and the future rather than the past and the solutions rather than the problems. We often have the solutions already but we sometimes need help to find these and this is what hypnotherapy can help with. We focus on the positives and how we can work towards our goals.
